22nd October 2017

It’s three weeks today since I was elected deputy leader of the Green Party in Northern Ireland, but somehow it seems a lot longer, maybe because a lot has happened (alongside the little or nothing happening at Stormont).  Here are some of the bits and pieces:

Belfast Telegraph (the day before the actual vote, so I’m slightly cheating)

At the Western Trust’s ‘savings plan’ consultation meeting in Enniskillen

*

Premiered at the Fermanagh Live arts festival

Helping out at the 8km water stop for the Walk/Jog/Run for Oisin in Belcoo

*

[Not going to the Passionist Partnership Gathering in County Durham  and not seeing Tom Robinson’s Power in the Darkness anniversary gig in York, owing to the ferries and buses being cancelled during Storm Ophelia]

but…

Another opportunity to hear and meet the inspirational Jessica Ernst on her heroic battle with the fracking industry and so-called regulators in Canada

And finally the inspirational Moved By Compassion social justice conference hosted by the Salvation Army in Enniskillen
